Optosis is a short horror puzzle game inspired by classics like Myst. Use the mouse to navigate a cell in a Victorian asylum, solve puzzles by inspecting the environment and conduct a bizarre experiment, all while avoiding the patrolling guards. 

​

Optosis was concocted following research into the practice of optography, a spurious science believing that the eye stores the last image seen before death. I found real world examples fascinatingly eerie and wanted to translate such a bizarre process into an engaging and atmospheric game.
